Samsung’s latest tablet is in the house – the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 brings impressive specs and a stylish design to the Android tablet arena and promises to offer a lot of bang for your buck. Announced back in June, it brings the latest design and features from the Galaxy smartphone range to the larger tablet form factor and the 8.4 inch display is certainly unique in its size (although LG did use the size first in the LG G Pad).

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a lot to offer both in terms of design and specs. The rear has the same perforated golf-ball-like effect as found on the Galaxy S5 and has a slim profile measuring just 6.6 mm thick and weighing just 298 grams. Whilst this may seem heavy, the weight distribution means that the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is actually very light in the hand. Here’s a quick recap of the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 specs:

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is both stylish yet very functional, offering a range of specs and a lot of value for money. The addition of telephony radios means it can act as your phone as well, although holding up the tablet to your ear to make a phone call may be bordering on the verge of ridiculousness.
