The LG G3 is in the house – it’s already undergone our full review process (read our LG G3 review for all the details) and now we’re taking an even closer look at some of the key features of the LG G3.

There’s several features which make the LG G3 different to its rivals and none more so than the rear of the device which has the unique rear-button area beneath the camera which houses the volume up / down and power buttons. Above this is the 13MP camera camera which features Optical Image Stabilisation+, Autofocus, HDR and simultaenous video and image capture.

There’s also laser autofocus which LG claim allows the LG G3 to focus on the photo’s subject in just 0.274 seconds. A bold claim and in our testing, we found nothing to discredit this speed (although may it’s not always that quick). The presence of Optical Image Stabilisation+ and the Laser Autofocus allows the LG G3 to take excellent photos in a variety of conditions – here’s some daylight and low light photos captured on the LG G3:

Overall the images are clear, detail is excellent and there’s very little noise. Compared to some of its rival smartphones, the LG G3 seems further ahead in the camera department and the impressive picture quality in low light conditions is no doubt down to OIS+ and the laser autofocus.
