One of the new features introduced in iOS 8 was the addition of a new landscape mode for larger display iPhones such as the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.

Now with both the iPhone 6 and the bigger iPhone 6 Plus at TechView HQ, let’s take a closer look at Apple’s landscape mode and how it’s different on the iPhone 6 Plus. Landscape mode really only applies to the iPhone 6 Plus as the feature set is minimal on the iPhone 6 but without doubt, the best part is the landscape homescreen. On the iPhone 6 Plus it makes a massive different and it’s a feature we’d love to see on naively on other platforms.
